As a software developer, I prioritize code efficiency and the user experience when developing mobile and web applications. To this end, I write code that is readable and scalable while creating user-friendly designs and interfaces. Most recently, for instance, I developed an e-commerce platform alongside a team of 4. For this, I improved team collaboration by introducing coding best practices and ensuring all team members were following coding standards and naming conventions. I also attended weekly meetings to diagnose and resolve problems as a team despite working remotely. I developed this cross-platform app by mastering and utilizing cutting-edge technologies, like the Dart language and Flutter framework for the UI as well as cloud development tools, including AWS Amplify and Serverless. Throughout development and testing, I kept user requirements in mind and helped create an app that matched the wireframe. Previously, I have also worked on game development. I inherited two different game development projects at different stages in the development lifecycle and finalized both. This involved not only understanding existing code rapidly but also writing new code to create features and game levels that did not exist before. One of the apps I worked on achieved more than one hundred downloads and a 5-star rating! As someone who likes to constantly learn new technologies and solve problems, I love tackling out-of-the-box projects. Throughout my professional experience, I’ve consistently improved project quality and efficiency by learning code optimization techniques. Similarly, I recently took the initiative to apply for and undertake a highly selective, coding-intensive bootcamp. I worked on multiple full-stack projects as part of this bootcamp, both individually and in group settings. This augmented my coding skills and provided additional proof that I can quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies.
