   Responsible for the strategy and management of the Chamber, promoting over 400 businesses in the Roaring Fork Valley• Position Basalt as a destination for businesses, locals, and visitors through advocacy, promotion, and outreach• Cultivate relationships with integral partners, including local municipalities, state agencies, area stakeholders and fellow chambers of commerce• Manage the operating budget (between $250-300K), successfully remaining net positive in 2020• Champion and advise on the needs of member businesses and the local economy, both for economic sustainability, as well as economic recovery and resiliency following the impact of COVID-19• Create all content required for chamber communications and marketing, including email newsletters, website, blog, social media and print materials• Creative direct, write, edit and manage the annual Discover Basalt magazine with a distribution of 20K• Secured and managed grants, including a Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) Marketing Matching Grant ($25K), two OEDIT Blueprint 2.0 technical assistance initiatives with implementation funding ($8K), economic development grants from Pitkin County ($15K) and Eagle County ($30K), and the Energize Colorado Gap Fund ($15K)• Planned, designed and executed a $50K marketing campaign for Basalt - the largest ad spend to date - leveraging the CTO grant • Redesigned and launched the Chamber\'s website, improving the user experience and content for three key audiences• Researched, launched and now manage Hack & Grind Coworking, a small business resource center and coworking space, an initiative of the Chamber in partnership with economic partners• Disseminated crucial information during two major emergencies (Lake Christine Fire, COVID-19), supporting EOC and IMT efforts through the creation of audience-specific microsites, email newsletters and social media
