Perform re‑IP of servers, switches, and other network devices during migration and decommission projects, updating addressing, gateways, and DNS, then validating end‑to‑end connectivity.Configure and reconfigure access and distribution switches for client sites, including VLANs, trunk ports, access ports, and interface descriptions to support new IP schemes and migrations.Collaborate with senior network engineers and remote teams during planned change windows, providing “smart hands” support such as console access, visual checks, and post‑change verification.Applied VLAN segmentation and access control configurations during live migration windows, directly limiting lateral movement exposure across client network environments.

ABOUT KRISHNARAJ MURUGAN

I\'ve identified 15+ vulnerabilities including 3 critical CVEs across production web applications, reducing security exposure by 35%. That\'s the result of approaching every engagement the way an attacker would.I work across both sides of the kill chain. On the offensive side: manual VAPT across web applications at Security Lit (NZ), using Burp Suite, SQLmap, and custom Python scripts to find XSS, CSRF, and SQLi that automated tools miss. On the defensive side: Splunk and ELK-based SOC environments, MITRE ATT & CK-mapped detections, incident response runbooks, and Microsoft Sentinel/Defender from my SOC program training.I\'ve also deployed a real-world TPOT honeypot to capture live attack traffic, built cloud IAM hardening labs in AWS and Azure, and completed Dante Pro Labs on Hack the Box covering Active Directory exploitation, lateral movement, and privilege escalation end to end.Beyond the technical work, I volunteer with the ISC2 Toronto Chapter and TASK, and published a thought leadership article on AI in cybersecurity for the chapter.Certified: eJPT · CEH · CCNA · Network+ · ISC2 CC. Currently seeking SOC Analyst or Penetration Tester roles in Canada. Feel free to connect or message directly, I respond within 24 hours.
