Developed a market-clearing algorithm for SFFR that optimizes social welfare. This algorithm employs linear programming technique to determine the equilibrium price and volume. Additionally, it incorporates a net welfare algorithm to determine the appropriate conditions for underholding or overholding.• Created and implemented an automated SFFR bid submission tool that collects auction bids, processes and validates them, and subsequently sends a response indicating whether the bids have been accepted or rejected.• Formulated a model that calculates the BM counterfactual, which represents the cost of fulfilling an inertia requirement without utilizing the Stability Y-1 market. The submitted commercial options are assessed based on their comparison to this BM counterfactual cost to ensure consumer value.• Developed a Quick Reserve (QR) buy order model based on its alternative actions. The buy order is directly uploaded to the EAC platform, where the auction is co-optimized with other response services.
