I\'m a registered Patent Agent at the USPTO. I\'ve always been interested in understanding innovation/technology (especially in the semiconductor design area) from a patent perspective. More recently, I find the world of IP as a business quite interesting. Previously, as a Patent Engineer/Agent at Fenwick and West and Velo3D, I worked on patent prosecution, and patent portfolio management.Prior to patent world, I\'ve worked as a digital design/verification engineer for 7 years. I\'ve worked at Oracle Corporation (previously Sun Microsystems) as a Senior Hardware Developer. My work included pre-silicon/post-silicon verifcation/validation of next-gen server micro-processor chips.I was responsible for building test plans, executing and debugging functional issues related to microprocessor chipsets.My earlier work experience as a digital design engineer involved responsibilities including RTL design, verification & documentation of DIGRF3G interface and ARM based peripherals that are a part of the digital core of a 2G/3G/4G LTE RF transceiver. Besides RTL design, I was also responsible for maintaining and updating Lattice FPGA design builds, that is a part of our test equipment.
