What I do: Hands on Mechanical Engineering SME/Manager working on Driveline System components such as transmissions/Gear boxes, Axles, Propeller shafts etc leading the design, development and integration of these components into Class8 commercial ICE (Internal Combustion Engine), Hybrid-Electric and Battery Electric Trucks. What I am good at: Engineering/Design, develop, validate and integrate gearbox and axle systems into Class 8 commercial trucks. Led development of Spur gears, Spiral Bevel gears, Helical and differential bevel gears with external suppliers and in-house design and manufacturing. Worked as Design Engineer for 6 to 18 speed manual transmissions, double reduction axles, Aluminum and Iron Green Sand casting components as well as fabricated steel components. NVH expert with proven record of solving various vibration quality issues related to field customer complaints. Worked as Application Engineer on integrating vendor/tier 1 supplier driveline components (Automated Manual transmissions, automatic transmissions, driveshafts & axles) with proprietary Powertrain and Chassis Systems. Worked as automotive and commercial truck brake test engineer. Executed multi-million dollar Powertrain projects from concept to production leading as Project Manager following Project phase/gated process. Led a 10+ person Driveline and Electromobility team, for 4.5 years, in developing and integrating Driveline Engineering solutions for conventional Diesel, Hybrid Electric and Battery Electric trucks. Successfully provided key technical support (2-Speed electric transmission integration along with Power Electronics) in launching of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Class8 Volvo VNR commercial truck and Mack LR refuse BEV truck. What I am currently doing: Product owner for development of a 2-speed/twin motor Eaxle for commercial BEV/FCEV trucks. Leading team of professionals in development and validation of the product monitoring the aspects of DVP & R, external and internal testing, for hardware and software, while integrating the axle into field test trucks and customer trucks for evaluation.

100D eAxle Product Owner - Responsible for design, development, validation and Commercialization of high power density Dual motor and high efficiency Helical geared 100D 2-speed eAxle, primarily for on-highway/vocational 6x2/4x2 commercial Battery Electric Vehicle/Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle truck configuration.100D 2-speed synchronized eAxle is integrated with oil and water cooled Hairpin motor configuration and is capable of impressive 454 kW continuous power and 652 kW peak power. 100D is rated at lbs GAWR (Gross Axle Weighted Rating) and compatible with most of the suspension configurations. The cast steel legs with unique & non-traditional architecture allows any suspension bracket to be weld-on or bolt-on making 100D easily compatible with different suspension configurations.
