Over the years the company has build solid reputation in the beauty industry by supplying goods at competitive prices and understanding the needs of our customers and manufacturers.\\\\n\\\\nMy responsibilities as a Group Financial Controller are as follows:\\\\n\\\\n• Leading and managing a busy accounts department;\\\\n• Ensuring that the finances are controlled in line with company’s commercial strategy developed by the board of directors;\\\\n• Monitoring cash flow, business performance and developing financial strategies;\\\\n• Preparing and finalising annual statutory accounts for Shaneel and other group companies;\\\\n• Managing the teams responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable;\\\\n• Overseeing the accounting-stock department responsible for stock valuation and stock takes;\\\\n• Preparing monthly management accounts, reporting them to management and our bankers;\\\\n• Liaising with company financiers to manage our overdraft and loan facilities;\\\\n• Interacting with auditors, customers and suppliers;\\\\n• Managing company’s insurance schemes;\\\\n• Directing the company’s payroll process, creating PAYE reports and payroll documents;\\\\n• Managing the VAT, EC sales and intrastate declarations for all group companies;\\\\n• Overseeing all tax and regulatory/compliance issues;\\\\n• Liaising with HMRC officers during inspections to ensure the group’s absolute financial compliance in line with governmental expectations;\\\\n• Preparation of master budgets, investigating differences in spending, ensuring that various departments are in line with prepared budgets;\\\\n• System development for the accounts department, managing change to increase productivity of the department;\\\\n• Implementing cost cutting programs;\\\\n• Writing company policies for the account departments;\\\\n• Assisting IT department with accounting system implementations;\\\\n• Conducting inductions and training for new staff.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
