Core Cash Payments Responsibilities:This managerial position is within the Private Equity Fund Services Business Unit of the State Street Alternative Investment Solutions Group. The position interacts with all levels of professionals both internally and externally. Strong leadership and a passion for driving digital transformation in financial operations. Directed a team of 12 professional analysts including 2 AM’s and across payments operations. Management of end-to-end payment processes which would include, input, release repair investigation, Team leadership and management Performance coaching, mentoring Responsible for processing and review of Capital activities (transfer, switches, redemption wire payment, expense wire payment, distribution wire payment). Monitor cash activity for a specified set of clients involving complex private equity fund structures and process transactions related to capital calls, capital distributions, expenses, tax checks, investor cash, internal transfers, respond to internal and external queries, resolving discrepancies related to investor accounts. In day to day operation, would be responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate.Core Trade Settlements Responsibilities Worked on Pre-matching of trades in order to match the trades on SD, SD-1, SD- 2 and failed trades to ensure smooth settlement on Value date so that any penalties, overdraft charges and claims will be avoided. Following up with counterparties on pre-match & failed trades and sending amendment instructions to counterparties as per the discrepancy to match / settle the trade in the market.
