ABOUT KRISHNA GOVINDARAJ

As a construction manager with over 15 years’ experience covering all facets of the construction industry including 13 years in metro rail and river bridge construction works (Deep underground and elevated structures from Substructure (Abutments and Raft foundation, Mono piles, Piles and Pile cap, Diaphragm wall, Pier and Pier cap), to Super structure (Intermediate and top slabs, Precast segmental post tensioned Box girders, U-Girders, PSC (I) Girders), Segmental Tunnel and soft eye construction (EPB – TBM, Dia 102m), and MEP/ Rail system track and subsystem work (Floating Track, Rail concrete beam, Flexible track slab, Rail Joint welding), Architect fit out works. Krishna’s role has given him the opportunity to be involved in technically challenging multimillion/billion – dollar projects internationally working in North America, South Asia and the Middle East. Through many years managing and supervising the construction and the delivery of unique and themed complex construction projects, he has gained a thorough understanding of the industry “designer speak”. Being able to articulate the stakeholder’s vision to those who do not have the same creative ability is vital to the success of a project and from this he has gained the confidence of all participants resulting in excellent working relationships throughout the project. Krishna will add valuable supervision and construction management experience to a project resulting in cost and time savings giving the project “best value” through the following: Ensure a collaborative approach would be maintained throughout the project between the clients, international consultant, local consultant and contractors from the initial concept stage to the handover of the project. Manage key strategies to achieve deliverable, within time and cost parameters. Integrate well established project site management practices with localized cultural expectations. Manage the challenges of the project close out including testing and commissioning to coincide with the critical construction milestones.
