I build software - lots of it. I believe that engineering leaders must love the technology they work on - that compels them to lead from the front and by example, to be creative, to have a compelling vision,and enables them to inspire and motivate similar creative people to believe and execute it and thence delivers widely successful outcomes to all stakeholdersI tend to seek out areas where deep technical subject matter expertise is a prerequisite. I look to partner and learn from like-minded seasoned subject matter experts and individuals I am a huge believer in early establishment and continuous validation of product-market fit so as to maximize possibility of success. I am quite intensely focused on delivery and outcomes. I\'ve been super lucky - I\'ve worked with and learned from brilliant, thoughtful people my entire career.I find joy in Computer Science especially operating systems, networks and distributed systems -)
