ABOUT KRISHANU BHATTACHARJEE
Over the past decade and a half, my journey in MedTech has been shaped by one core belief: when applied with intention, technology can close some of the most persistent gaps in healthcare - especially in underserved regions. As the Founder of EMeRG, an international medtech research and advisory firm, I’ve had the privilege of leading teams that operate at the intersection of innovation, evidence, and real-world healthcare delivery. At EMeRG, we partner with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups, helping them navigate complex markets, validate opportunities, and build solutions grounded in the lived realities of clinicians, hospitals, and patients.In parallel, we developed HospeTrack, the world’s largest hospital intelligence platform - built to make reliable, granular hospital data more accessible and actionable. HospeTrack was created to address a long-standing challenge in the industry: the “paradox of innovation in isolation.” Too often, breakthrough technologies struggle to reach the hospitals and communities that need them most because innovators lack the contextual insights required to scale responsibly and effectively. Our work to close that gap has taken us across health systems in the US, ASEAN, Africa, the Middle East, South America, and Europe- through field research, market access programs, and strategic workshops.With a background in biomedical engineering and a focus on customer-centric strategy, my work centers on guiding teams to identify unmet needs and translate them into scalable, data-driven solutions. Over the years, I’ve contributed to a broad portfolio of med-tech market studies and forecasts.
