In my current role in Crisil I am required to perform detailed analysis of the financial statements of issuer being rated, including modelling detailed projections, analyzing business & revenue models to identify key risks, strengths, weaknesses, business and industry risk factors, demand-supply dynamics, competitive landscape, peer benchmarking, to derive key credit insights. Which is then followed by formulation of credit ratings based on a holistic assessment of the aforementioned factors, writing of clear and concise reports and presenting the same in committees comprising of senior management as well as managing relationships with mid to senior level client representatives such as CXOs, directors etc. during the entire rating process.
