As North Regional Lead, I oversee VRiMS operations and host national conferences, including the UCLan Surgical Symposium, Sheffield Neurology and Neurosurgery Conference, Liverpool Future Surgeons Conference, and Keele Neurosurgery Society Northern Neurosurgery Conference. VRiMS is at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, simulating surgical environments to revolutionise training and education in the medical field.While fulfilling my role, I am deeply committed to representing and showcasing the exceptional technology developed by the VRiMS research group. Having been kindly offered the role by VRiMS CEO, Professor Jag Dhanda, after sharing my ideas, I hope to gain further exposure to the extended reality space - contributing my thoughts and vision on how to build on their innovations and explore new possibilities in medtech and medical education.
