ABOUT KRIS SMITH

Im passionate about coaching and supporting my teams to be world class in everything they do, whilst allowing them to feel empowered to make their own decisions and find their own solutions as part of their individual journeys, wherever it’s possible.I truly believe in delivering a strong sales and commercial performance whilst always remaining ethical in the processes and approach my team and I undertake and embrace to do this.With a love for MI and data, I have the ability to analyse and use data to create a strategic operating rhythm in order to deliver both short and longer term goals as well as create interventions when needed and evolve as the market and competition adapts to the constant changes we are facing into in the financial services industry.The nature of my role means I spend a lot of time on the road which has supported me to create space and always reflect on the narrative and story I’m trying tell which allows me to take people on a journey with me and create a vision that is truly inclusive and personal to everyone in my team. If there is one thing that I feel sets world class leaders apart is creating a culture that can be seen, felt and heard and makes someone feel part of something special.When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and step daughter unwinding and exploring new and exciting experiences ranging from enjoying good food to travelling Europe and learning from other people’s cultures and what makes them tick. I am an avid FC Barcelona member and can often be found in the Camp Nou. I love a game of chess and especially the way in makes you always think ahead.
