   As CEO, leads operational and fiscal oversight of the $4.6 million, local association. Focus on curriculum development and implementation, budget development and facilitation, state contract negotiation, grant management and compliance, fund development, human resources, strategic planning, capacity building evaluation and planning; maintains multiple facilities and infrastructure. Contributor for the Rockford Register Star discussing community issues.Key Results: • Acquired The Literacy Council in August 2022 and successfully integrated operations, facility, contracts and programming into YWCA Northwestern Illinois.• Created supporting foundation to provide operating revenue in perpetuity to the organization; created all documentation from incorporation through IRS filings, recruitment of board of directors, budget, and bylaws. Currently serving as President of the foundation.• Serves as consultant to sister YWCA organizations to assist in vision/strategy/financial capacity.• In 2015, identified, led the due diligence, and facilitated the acquisition of a local Hispanic nonprofit. Three years post acquisition, realized a 246% increase in operating margin, while gross program margins remained static at 88%.• Led the association through a name change, branding campaign, and identity launch for the new moniker.• Developed an award-winning Racial Justice program; community leader in issues concerning race and gender in northern Illinois and provides training to many municipalities, law enforcement agencies, school districts and institutions of higher learning. • Wrote a Cultural Competency curriculum targeted to pre-service teaching students at Illinois State University.• Facilitated a statewide theory of change model to lead statewide advocacy efforts in Illinois and Ohio.
