ABOUT KRIS BENNE

Currently working predominantly as Package Manager through Omexom for Luxcara\'s Waterekke/Waterkant Offshore development. In addition, I advise internally and externally on Offshore Logistics, SOVs, CTVs, charters, technologies and operations. Both as a charterer, as well as operations and commercially.My previous experience as O&M Implementation manager on the client-side (Northland Power) helps me to understand the client needs, whereas my roles as Project Manager and Teamlead for an international team with global projects at Ampelmann and Windea allow me to approach my work with a profund understanding of offshore marine operations, vessel operations, commercialization and contracting.Within my role at Northland I was responsible for the technical review of all O&M aspects for future wind farms during the development, design and construction, aswell as developing and implementing the operations strategy for all O&M activities and contracts. In addition I supported the organization with expert knowledge for the selection, chatering and operational management of SOVs and other O&M marine assets. Some of my involvement has been in Hai Long offshore Windfarm (Taiwan), all other asian developements, the NordseeCluster including Nordsee One, and in the near future Scotwind. As part of the role, I was industry partner in the H2Mare research project, allowing me to get an deep understanding of Hydrogen and PtX production and related marine operations.During my studies and in my hobbies, I learned to successfully solve problems in an analytical, result-driven way without cutting short on safety, quality, while under time pressure. Speaking three languages fluently and having a bi-national background helps me to adapt to any surrounding quickly.I was able to straightly join Ampelmann after my graduation in an operational role. Within this young and dynamic company, I could develop myself quickly to become a key-member of the operational part of the organisation. The size of the company allowed to quickly take responsibility for the entire scope of a project; from account management to team-management, finances and technical support. At Windea I could extend my knowledge in commercial tender management. My role also was to initiate and coordinate the development of offshore services, together with the Joint venture partners.
