Clayton is a leading single-family home builder. Our over team members build, sell, finance and insure our homes across the United States. I work in the Corporate Shared Services business unit, located at the main campus in Maryville, TN. As the Senior Recruiter, I lead Talent Acquisition for the Home Team. I partner with multiple teams like: Internal Audit, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, Legal, HRIS, Benefits, Payroll, Grounds, Facilities, The Lodge, Licensing, Payroll, Tax, and Hospitality. I work with HR and hiring managers when new roles and backfills open. I post every role through Workday and manage the Talent Acquisition process for each role through Workday. I screen candidates using Microsoft Bookings and Microsoft Teams, set up interviews with Managers and panels, administer Caliper assessments and walk through results with managers, register visitors via Envoy, work with managers on compensation guidelines for offers, generate offer letters, make offers to candidates, and then hand off the new Team Member to HR for onboarding. I work with HR on process improvement and workflows and am actively creating a curriculum for behavioral interview training for our managers. I partner with career staff at local colleges and universities for recruiting events, attend career fairs, and host guests for campus tours.
