ABOUT KLAUDIA KRENCA RUSNAK

I hold a PhD in Developmental Psychology and Education from the University of Toronto, where my dissertation explored the role of oral language in the literacy development of emerging English-French bilingual children in Canada. Following this, I completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Dalhousie University, focusing on Canadian children\'s reading comprehension in digital environments. I have authored 10 publications and disseminated my research at several national and international conferences. As a quantitative researcher, I am proficient in complex analyses using SPSS and various data-related programs (e.g, PowerBI). From 2022 to 2024, I was a Researcher on the Consumer Research and Experimentation Team at the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC). During this time, I conducted research in financial literacy within the Behavioural Finance Lab (BFL), contributing to FCAC\'s mandate to promote financial education, protection, and empowerment for Canadians. More specifically, BFL conducts research and behavioural science interventions and develops digital products to simplify financial decisions and nudge consumers to adopt positive financial habits.Currently, I am a Senior Data Analyst in the Human Resources branch at Environment and Climate Change Canada on the Performance Measurement and Analysis team. In this role, I directly supervise three employees. I provide support and advice on HR data collection, management, analysis, and reporting. My responsibilities include conducting ad hoc analyses to support evidence-based decision-making, creating people management dashboards, preparing accountability reports, developing performance measurement metrics, producing workforce analysis reports, and handling media and Access to Information and Privacy requests.I am proficient in both English and French (CBC level) and hold a Reliability security clearance. My diverse background in research and data analysis, combined with my language skills, allows me to effectively contribute to strategic decision-making and multidisciplinary projects.
