In this role, I am responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-wide LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure, ensuring 99.98% uptime through proactive monitoring and advanced troubleshooting. I managed complex multi-vendor environments with Cisco Catalyst (2960, 3650, 3850, 4500, 9300), Nexus (2K–7K), ISR, and ASR routers, as well as Arista, Alcatel-Lucent, and Meraki solutions. My expertise included BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols, EBGP peering, BGP attribute tuning (MED, AS-Path, Local Preference, Weight), and MPLS backbone optimization. I deployed and administered FortiGate firewalls, Cisco ASA Firepower, and NAC solutions, while leveraging tools like Infoblox, SolarWinds, Zenoss, and Cisco Prime for IPAM, monitoring, and performance analysis. I engineered LAN/WAN designs, VLAN segmentation, 802.1Q trunking, HSRP, EtherChannel, VDCs, FEX pinning, SSL acceleration, and load balancing (F5 LTM/GTM, Citrix NetScaler) to optimize scalability and security. Additionally, I played a key role in DHCP migrations, wireless infrastructure design, traffic engineering, and packet analysis with Wireshark, while documenting all configurations and change plans with Visio and ITSM systems. This role strengthened my expertise in enterprise networking, data center technologies, SDN, and end-to-end security design.
