Early career work as an analyst coupled with time leading startups built the skillset and reputation of a forward-thinking strategist and people manager known for keepings teams excited, invested, and motivated.I like envisioning a different tomorrow. I’ve worked for and consulted on companies ranging from napkin stage startups to Fortune 10 companies for nearly a decade with a focus on ease of use and market differentiating features. I’m currently writing a technology-driven post-apocalyptic trilogy as an active exercise in thinking forward. This focus on what’s next has allowed my teams to capture millions of users.I like efficiency. I’ve re-written endless SQL & Python and pushed software teams to rewrite Swift, Kotlin, React, Solidity & more to increase automation and reduce load-times. I’m that friend who’s optimized everything from what lane to be in for any given type of traffic to the most likely place to find apples in an over-picked orchard. This focus on output has produced substantial code reuse, team-outsized feature delivery, and meaningful cost savings. I like authentic community. I’ve witnessed empowered workers and built digital connection platforms, yet also seen what makes people disappear. Whether personally or professionally, there’s nothing more essential to keeping people in your life than making them feel known, valued, and heard. Personally, my partner and I are focused on one word: affinity. Professionally, that spirit of initiating connection has led to a lot of repeat co-workers.
