Remember dial-up? In that era, fueled by a passion to ignite young minds, I took my first leap into EdTech in 1991. My initial venture, Link Magazine and Digital Campus, became a vibrant hub for millions of college students. This success, culminating in its acquisition by the College Television Network (which later became Viacom\'s MTVu), underscored the power of building connection and community in education.Leveraging that experience, I co-founded GoalQuest with my partner in life and innovation, Tracy Howe. GoalQuest helped colleges and universities not only attract students, but also keep them engaged and on track. Education Dynamics ultimately acquired the company, recognizing its measurable impact.Fueled by the thrill of creating tools that make a difference, we launched Evolution Labs (Suite360)—again, side-by-side with Tracy. We tackled the urgent need for SEL, Character Education, and Mental Health programs in K-12 schools. Our work caught the attention of Navigate360, resulting in a strategic acquisition and expanded national reach.Today, I’m leading the charge at ThinK-12, a company laser-focused on helping K-12 schools thrive. From enrollment growth to family engagement and retention, we help schools compete in a rapidly evolving education landscape.And now, with our newest breakthrough—Wisdom Circuits—we’re reimagining how students interact with academic content in the age of AI. These secure, AI-powered learning companions are built exclusively from a teacher’s curriculum. They explain concepts using each student’s personal interests, provide support without judgment, and eliminate shortcuts like essay generation or answer dumps. It\'s personalized learning, aligned to classroom goals—and it\'s changing how students learn, one conversation at a time.Education isn’t just my career—it’s my lifelong passion. Back home in Central NJ, I’m with Tracy and our four energetic kids (well, two are now in college). We live a dynamic life—splitting time between equestrian show jumping, tennis, hot yoga, golf, and whatever adventure comes next.In my spare time (ha), I’ve pursued another lifelong passion—writing. I’m the author of the Unlocked techno-thriller trilogy, a fast-paced series that explores the intersection of technology, ethics, and power.
