After 15+ years across product and go-to-market, I\'ve learned that most products don\'t fail because of the product. They fail because the wrong problem was solved for the wrong buyer. I\'ve spent my career working across both product management and product marketing, and I\'ve never believed those two things should be separated. What gets built and how it gets sold are the same conversation. The best products fail without the right story, and the best stories fall apart if the product doesn\'t deliver. My approach is always the same: listen closely, find the people with the real problem and the budget to solve it, and build a go-to-market strategy that makes the value impossible to ignore. That means different playbooks for different buyers, sales enablement that actually works in the field, and a narrative that resonates at every level of the organization, from the end user to the executive signing the contract. I\'m also a speaker and writer. I believe that if you can\'t explain your product simply, you don\'t understand it well enough. That conviction shapes everything I do. Right now I\'m at Maplesoft, where I lead product strategy and go-to-market for a portfolio of AI-powered math software used by universities worldwide — working on one of the more interesting problems in education: how do you help students truly understand math in a world where AI can just solve it for them.
