Based in GP surgeries as a part of Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (previously IAPT) to support people with complex mental health needs and act as a ‘bridge’ between primary care and specialist mental health services- Conducting triage, comprehensive assessment, and psychological formulation to understand the unique mental health needs and social factors impacting service users- Offering a range of brief psychological interventions to support service users in effective symptom management and distress tolerance- Providing GPs and other primary care staff timely support and advice to ensure that service users get access to the most appropriate pathway and interventions
