Scottsdale Research Institute (SRI Foundation) is a federally licensed, nonprofit clinical research organization dedicated to the ethical investigation of whole plant and fungal medicines. Our mission is to expand access to evidence-based alternative therapies—such as cannabis and psilocybin—through scientifically rigorous research, public policy engagement, and innovative access programs like Right to Try. We are one of the few U.S. facilities with DEA licensure to cultivate, manufacture, and study Schedule I substances for FDA-authorized clinical trials. Our work centers on addressing treatment-resistant conditions, especially among veterans and underserved communities, by exploring the therapeutic potential of naturally derived compounds. With a foundation built on transparency, scientific integrity, and patient advocacy, SRI Foundation strives to shift outdated paradigms in medicine. We aim to be a national leader in psychedelic and cannabinoid research, bridging the gap between traditional healthcare systems and emerging plant-based therapeutics.
