ABOUT KOSURI DIVYA

MSc Bioinformatics student with a strong academic foundation in Biochemistry, Molecular Genetics, and Computational Biology, driven by a passion for applying data-driven approaches to solve real-world problems in genomics and healthcare. I have hands-on experience in NGS data analysis, transcriptomics, differential gene expression (DEG) analysis, and variant identification, along with proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Linux (Ubuntu). My technical interests include RNA-Seq analysis, genome annotation, protein structure prediction, molecular modeling, and AI/ML applications in drug discovery.My project work includes AI/ML-based drug discovery targeting the HBx gene in Hepatitis B, where I applied computational approaches for target analysis, molecular modeling, and biological data integration. I have also worked on protein structure prediction, functional annotation, and transcriptomic analysis using industry-relevant bioinformatics tools.Beyond academics, I actively participate in research presentations, conferences, and workshops, and I have experience presenting scientific work at national and international platforms. As an NSS volunteer, I value teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility.I am eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to research, biotech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare analytics roles, where computational biology and life sciences intersect.
