Progressed from global platform development to a customer-facing role ‍ in R&D.🤓 As a protein purification expert, I- Analysed and targeted gaps in existing processes- Planned long-term projects and short-term lab-work- Bulldozed technical and operational challenges to deliver on time- Kept proactive communication with all stakeholders- Trained and managed the project work of up to 3 supporting scientists at a time. With a big smile, I led customer communication with systematic success, e.g- Reversed one customer’s appraisal of Lonza from 2/10 to 8/10 by flawlessly delivering two time-critical projects- Secured a multi-million revenue stream by presenting a customer’s asset to their investment partner, ensuring continued collaboration after previous process deviations. On top of commercial work, I- Designed software templates for each step of the purification process, moving the department to electronic records- Championed a key OT system (Unicorn) upgrade- Championed high-throughput screening (Tecan/Synthace and AKTA Autosampler) and designed a Lean infrastructure for the operators (protocol optimisation, experiment templates, consumable tracking)- Organised regular supplier training for the department.
