Qualified as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon since 1997.Hold 2 degrees in Speciality from South Africa and Greece.Have served as a Thoracic consultant in UK NHS since 2001 and hold managerial positions since 2005.I am an active member of the University of Leeds faculty (medical school) and have been mentoring and teaching undergraduate students since 2001.Active program committee member for the european Society of Thoracic Surgeons, abstract reviewer for the annual conference and member of the ESTS textbook committee.I have served as the Treasurer of ESTS from 2009 to 2017 and hold the President\'s position from june 2017.Specialties: Cardiothoracic SurgerySpecial interest and experience in lung cancer, minimally invasive surgery, coding, database and Department finances.
