I am a rare hands-on technologist that excels at problem-solving and thrives on challenges. Most recently I started a side project on my free time to build a powerful observability platform to rival the likes of Splunk, but with a much stronger interface to empower developers in troubleshooting and SRE/IT departments in monitoring complex systems. I built such a platform at TradeZero which was leveraging Splunk, but had its own UI built in Winforms due to time and resources constraints. Our platform at TradeZero was ingesting 1-1.5 billion events a day.Over my last 5 years with TradeZero, I have been driving change for growth and scalability while refactoring most of our systems to be services driven operating in a cloud-like environment. Our tech team growth during my tenure went from 4 to now over 50 individuals. During this time, the company accomplished tremendous growth.My prior expertise has been designing and implementing low-latency, mission-critical software systems for systematic automated trading.
