Serve as senior in-house counsel to a leading international architecture, interiors, planning, and consulting firm, spanning 12 offices around the world. Advise firm leaders on matters relative to construction, corporate governance, risk mitigation/claims management, anti-bribery and corruption, compliance, data privacy/protection, intellectual property (including artificial intelligence), international transactions, and real estate.Draft and negotiate commercial and professional service agreements, including teaming and JV/teaming agreements, design-build, and MSAs, for design projects around the globe. Responsible for the following offices: London, UK; New York, Los Angeles; and the Asia Practice (Hong Kong and Shanghai). Oversee firm wide claims management and risk mitigation processes, including ensuring overall compliance with existing policies and establishing new policies when warranted, engaging/supervising outside counsel, advising internal project teams, conferring with insurer coverage counsel and insurance brokers (U.S. and U.K.), and counseling firm leaders on dispute resolution processes and strategy. Spearhead NBBJ\'s annual professional liability insurance renewal process, requiring close coordination with internal (finance and firm leadership) and external (US/UK brokers and underwriters) stakeholders. Serve on the firm\'s three-person JEDI Advisory Group, overseeing a group of firm wide Ambassadors to promote firm wide JEDI initiatives. Principal in February 2021.
