Responsible for reviewing work packages to make sure that the most cost-effective processes are employed in procuring 3rd party subcontractors,equipment, materials and supplies to perform the work in a high quality and profitable manner. Identify equipment, materials and supplies necessary to perform the work. Make decisions to determine the highest quality and best price available and authorize purchase orders and contracts to procure equipment, materials and supplies to support the work of the Construction, Maintenance and Electrical Groups and ensure that all materials and equipment meet the quality and cost-effective requirements of the company and customer. Develop detailed plan to make sure equipment, materials and supplies are delivered on time to job sites and that all rental equipment is accounted for and returned to vendors in a timely manner and provide accurate accounting of location, quantities and status of equipment, materials and supplies and report to management as directed. Works with multiple business areas utilizing RFP processes for evaluating bidders and executing agreements within the existing sourcing strategy. Monitors vendor compliance with contract terms and product or service specifications. Identifies and realizes opportunities for cost reduction. Participates in internal control processes.
