About Korn Sooksatra
My research interests are related to adversarial machine learning. In specific, this involves generating strong adversarial examples by optimization methods and generative adversarial networks (GANs) used for adversarial training. This training promotes adversarial robustness of a learning model. In addition, my focus is on computer vision since adversarial examples can be mostly found in this field. Furthermore, I am interested in taking advantages of generating adversarial examples by GANs in several areas, one of which is cryptography. I investigate how to create a training framework such that a machine can learn a strong cipher for secure communication by utilizing GANs. This training scheme is called adversarial neural cryptography.
