What if one question could change your whole life? In 2003, a colleague walked into my office and asked me a question that changed my life forever.\"Murat, do you know of a software that stores information in images instead of databases?\"It was just as I was about to quit my regular job to start my own company.Ideas swirled, but one trend emerged - gadget proliferation and the rise of digital content.With this surge came an urgent need for effective organisation.I saw this as an opportunity to meet the demand for digital photo management software.With my colleague Alex, we started PicaJet, a user-friendly solution geared towards photographers.We had no venture capital, just pure determination.Since Alex and I are both programmers, we worked night and day, even on weekends, to refine the software before it was ready for market. Each day, we coded until noon, and then tried our best to spread the word about our new software across the web.Then we had a breakthrough. We sold our first 6 subscriptions. Then companies started asking for PicaJet with multi-user support.So, in 2008, Daminion was born. A super easy-to-use #DigitalAssetManagement solution that saves loads of time for marketing and design departments. Over the years, Daminion has helped of companies improve productivity, streamline workflows, and easily manage their media archives.
