I joined ACCO Brands, a $1.7B multinational company, to elevate communication from a necessary function to a strategic lever for business. I revamped our internal communication strategy, shifting from culture-related feel-good content to add business-aligned storytelling that reinforced key behaviors and priorities, ranging from the intranet to CEO quarterly meetings. This included starting podcast-style interviews and a global newsletter to increase leadership visibility and reinforce must-win behaviors. Leveraging previous experience, I spearheaded a corporate brand refresh, pulling in insights from business leaders to ensure messaging resonated beyond just the U.S. This included a new logo, corporate narrative, and other supporting materials to re-engage employees in a competitive changing market. And when it became clear that we needed to cut more costs, ESG reporting, I built the capability in-house ESG report development—saving the company more than $20K while producing a more authentic corporate narrative.
