Consulting as the UX Designer for the DataQuest gamification at Great Lakes Data Watershed, I lead user-centered design efforts to enhance the interactive learning experience. My responsibilities include conducting heuristic evaluations specific to gamified elements, iterating on user flows, and leading usability testing sessions to gather actionable insights. I perform in-depth user research to inform data-driven design decisions with the creator/CEO and create engaging, consistent content that aligns with our gamification strategy. My work ensures the DataQuest section is intuitive, motivating, and user-friendly, providing an optimal learning experience.
