About Kori Feener
Kori Feener is a documentarian and journalist based in Vermont. Her career started in cinematography with a focus on fiction filmmaking which led to experiences in both large and small scale productions. Now, she directs, shoots and edits short and feature-length documentaries, news-based content, and writes for print and digital journalism. Her passion is to focus on stories that are of an underrepresented perspective, and a driver for meaningful change. Whether that be branding videos, commercials or documentary - she is always looking for the truthful and emotional core to the story. She is Co-Directing an upcoming feature documentary,\"Bea\" with Allen Moore, and a short documentary about Boston politician Deeqo Jabril. She is known for her feature Hard Way Home, which won Best Feature at the Chattanooga Film Festival and for her work as a documentary cinematographer. She was a board member of the documentary collaborative The Non-Fiction Cartel and has served as a film festival screener. Kori holds an MFA in Media Art from Emerson College, a BA in Film and Media Art from the University of Tampa and is originally from Topsfield, Massachusetts.
