Canada Border Services Agency, Ottawa, Ontario Information Technology Architect / Tech Lead (Consultant)- Led design and architecture of a reference data project on the cloud using AWS CDK, and AWS SAM framework- Created serverless application using AWS CodeStar (CodeBuild, CodeCommit, Codebuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline),Nodejs, Typescript, Lambda, React, Bootstrap, Git, Wet4, MySQL, Loopback and Lambda to provide a simple interface for internal clients to modifyreference data. Also, provided RESTful APIs for internal clients to consume reference data via Amazon API Gateway or/and DataPower- Successfully coordinated a 10+ person team in the migration of a legacy system into the cloud system using cloud JIRA and daily SCRUMS- Led DataPower Gateway project; installed and configure DataPower ESB, console, and Docker. Developed the MPGW (Multi-Protocol Gateway) using Gateway script to connect to a Cache Service to fetch and provide cached data to internal clients- Authored ADS (Architectural Design) documents for several applications to move to AWS Cloud solutions, designed Component diagrams, SUC, DataModel, and solution diagrams using Draw.io and Visio- Analyzed existing database and created physical and logical data models to move existing applications to Cloud based solution (AWS)- Re-developing the Boarder Watch Line (BWL) application using Spring Boot Framework, Docker, Angular7, Git, Maven repository, as well as Jenkins to monitor the application- Created unit tests using Mockito JAVA-based library to test the application. Used the @InjectMocks and @Mocks annotations to simply create and inject mocked instances- Developed event driven services using JMS, SMS, and SNS to provide acknowledgements to internal clients- Created new repository and image for Docker to build, deploy and run SAM application locally using docker container.
