ABOUT KONSTANTINOS PEFKIANAKIS

What makes me tick I can go to great lengths to satisfy my curiosity. I excel at breaking down convoluted matters and finding the simplest words to explain them to anyone who would listen. I enjoy deep working on complex issues, as much as brainstorming and free thinking. I like it when effort and reward are shared. What I do now Currently working as a Manager in the Internal Financial Controls Audit at Publicis Groupe in the Europe region. I lead the audits and I coach local management. I am comfortable in English, French, Italian and Greek. I am also pursuing an Executive MBA at EDHEC Business School, which is an exciting journey towards a broader knowledge of business and an enhancement of my leadership, management and team working skills. Past experiences I have studied Physics, Economics, Accounting and Finance. To date, studying is the best means I have found to make sense of the world. Teaching was my first trade before moving into External Audit. Mathematics and problem solving skills gave me a head start in the study of Economics; working in Audit was then a natural way to get an insider view of how the real Economy works, after having studied a fair amount of theory. I am constantly striving to improve my skills and become an all rounded Finance Professional. Life When I don’t think or work finance, you can find me running in a Parisian park, sketching or watching a play. Good non-fiction books make me happy; reading one on my way to a far flung destination, even more.
