   Responsible for all aspects of REI’s Real Estate, Store Design, Concept Development, Construction, and Facilities strategy development and execution- Real-Estate Strategy - Collaborating closely with the REI’s Retail and Experiences teams to develop multi-year real-estate strategies that encompasses new locations, renewals, closures and moves aligned with business growth, capital expenditure, and cost management goals- Real-Estate Execution – Developing and managing a nationwide network of brokers to identify and build a sustainable pipeline of viable locations to meet REI’s real-estate strategies. Assessing individual locations for lease, renewal, moves and closures and negotiating deals for the same- Physical Place Design & Construction – Develop a multi-year store and location design strategy that supports REI’s customer experience, brand, operations, and economic requirements. Develop store designs for new retail format strategies- Facilities and Capital Improvements – Manage the facilities and capital improvement plans and budgets for REI’s fleet of 180+ stores. Develop and manage strategic capital improvements plan to maintain and refresh REIs fleet of leased and owned retail and Experiences locations.
