ABOUT TORSTEIN D. KONGSHEM

Torstein is an experienced Engagement manager working 30 years with large national and international corporations of banking and finance, utilities and risk management.He is currently a senior advisor at Holte Consulting.Torstein was recently Head of Development of Det Norske Veritas open industry digital platform, Veracity.Torstein held the position of Assistant General Manager for IT projects and systems on international cash management in one of the largest financial institutions in the Nordic region.He held the position of Chief of Projects in an IT consultancy company that delivered solutions and services to the power market in northern Europe.Torstein has led a team of software specialists, onshore and offshore, in the migration of more than a dozen legacy systems’ data into one.He has three years experience in managing teams engaged in implementing document and record management solutions and two years experience in delivering enterprise search solutions.Torstein has extensive experience in procuring and managing offshore consultants for the purpose of achieving the best balance between capability, capacity and price. He is also very experienced in contract negotations.He has been actively practicing as a Scrum master since early 2010 and has a scrum professional certification (CSP) with the Scrum Alliance.Torstein is a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Oslo, and has an economics degree from the Norwegian School of Business Administration, NHH.He is a results-oriented and goal-directed manager.
