ABOUT KOMALPREET CHAHAL

As a Supply Chain Intern at BBN Transport LTD, I contribute to the optimization of the transportation network, the improvement of the inventory management, and the enhancement of the customer service. I use my VBA Excel skill to automate and streamline the data analysis and reporting processes, saving time and resources for the company. I am also a Safety Coordinator at Walmart Distribution Center, where I ensure the compliance of the safety policies and procedures, the prevention of the workplace hazards, and the promotion of the safety culture. I leverage my Lean Six Sigma certification to identify and eliminate the waste and variation in the operations, increasing the efficiency and quality of the service. I have completed my Associate degree of Business Administration - BA (Honors) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where I am a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International. I am passionate about learning new skills and knowledge in the SCM field, and I am eager to apply them in real-world scenarios. I am also a peer mentor at SAIT, where I support and guide other students in their academic and personal development. I am a curious, diligent, and detail-oriented individual who strives to be the best version of myself in every aspect of my life. I am a photographer by hobby, a stock market trader, and a model. I enjoy working with teams and collaborating with diverse and talented people. I am always open to new challenges and opportunities to grow and improve.
