ABOUT MEL KOMAL P.
Hi, my name is Komal! I am educated in health informatics, public health, and healthcare management. I am planning on getting my CCA certification this year. During my graduate education, I managed to balance three internships, volunteering, and being a campus leader while being a full-time student working on research. Georgia native, with a track record for reaching project goals, exceeding expectations, and rising to the occasion. I worked as a lead intern on a 9-month student-led project where we raised Augusta University Health\'s Healthcare Equality Index from 34 to 95, which is now Georgia\'s second-highest HEI scoring hospital. As an intern for the American Heart Association, I created new infographics and fact sheets that catered more to our community to increase our community\'s understanding of heart health. As for my future, I am interested in utilizing more of my leadership and project management skills. In my free time, you can find me thrift shopping, learning something new on Coursera, or walking a trail at Stone Mountain. My strengths are my ability to strategize, manage expectations, and prioritize.
