ABOUT KOLE NIKAC
Great networking, communication, and technical skills gained throughout the years of education and broad work experience. Having worked at the Cross-Border institute has strengthened my engineering problem-solving skills. My previous position as Junior Civil/Municipal Engineer (E.I.T.) at Baird AE Consulting has taught me the importance of keeping a project on budget and schedule regardless of the size of the project. However, the experience has reinforced my stormwater management knowledge and put it to practice, whether it be creating site plans, grading, servicing, modeling, etc. The ERCA position instilled into me the importance of collaboration with clients, and governmental institutions. The practical skills gained through college education, combined with the theoretical background in civil engineering from the University of Windsor make me a well-rounded Civil Engineer. I am very passionate about water resources/municipal engineering, and being able to make a positive impact on the community.
