ABOUT KOLBE GRELL

I\'m a former U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Officer turned petroleum engineer, with over a decade of leadership experience spanning combat operations and the oil and gas industry. I currently serve as Production Manager at GeoSouthern Energy, where I lead production and facility engineering teams and oversee field operations across the Haynesville, Austin Chalk, and Eagle Ford plays. At GeoSouthern, I helped scale GEP Haynesville II’s production from ~17 MMcf/d to ~570 MMcf/d in less than 10 months—without a single recordable incident. I’ve led cost-reduction initiatives that cut average monthly fixed costs by over 54%, negotiated a multi-year acreage dedication agreement projected to save over $11 million, and spearheaded environmental efforts that earned us the lowest methane intensity rating in the Haynesville Basin.Prior to entering the energy sector, I served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps. I commanded over 70 Marines and Sailors in Afghanistan’s Sangin district, planning and executing more than 175 combat missions and partnering with local leaders to support grassroots governance. I’m a graduate of Officer Candidate School, The Basic School, Infantry Officers Course, and the Winter Mountain Leaders Course.I hold an MBA from Rice University, where I focused on energy strategy, finance, and leadership—building on my operational foundation to drive business growth and long-term value creation. I bring a mission-driven mindset, operational discipline, and a passion for high-performance teams to every challenge I take on.
