Kolade Aderele (pronounced “cuh-la-DAY Ah-DAY-ray-lay” ) is a Boston University graduate with degrees in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance, and Economics. He currently works as a Senior Associate at Cleveland Avenue, a venture capital firm investing in lifestyle consumer brands + tech companies positively disrupting growing markets. Kolade specializes in business analysis, financial forecasting, and due diligence, supporting strategic decision-making driving sustainable business growth. Prior to joining Cleveland Avenue, Kolade worked at Access Ventures primarily supporting their regional focused investment fund, Render Capital, as well as supporting the investment activities in their direct and indirect investment strategies. Kolade grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and graduated from Boston University with his BA in Economics, with a focus on Economic Development, and Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. Kolade is passionate about increasing the standard of living of people in his community by creating a more inclusive and accessible economy. In his free time, Kolade enjoys weightlifting, cooking while listening to music, visiting local museums, art exhibitions, theatre performances and concerts. He volunteers often and is a member of the Associate Board of The People’s Music School. His favorite quote is “May your choices reflect your hopes not fears” by Nelson Mandela.
