With a PhD in Educational Research (specialization in Adult Learning) from the University of Calgary coupled with my previous role in management and leadership in banking I am with a wealth of organizational knowledge, experience, and people management skills for a new chapter in my career. The following transferable skills below best describes me:• Project Management: I have developed strong project management skills by learning to have to prioritize different tasks, collaborate with colleagues to advance several research projects – often at the same time, to achieve goals within a determined timeframe and budget.• Communication: My communication skills encompass both advanced literacy and emotional intelligence in communicating with varied stakeholders. My past role in banking involved client-facing roles, as well as other positions that required communicating orally or in written modes.• Data: I am highly skilled in data collection and analysis. These transferable skills relate to my ability to understand, analyze, and extract insights from different types of data, thus making me capable of handling new methodologies, processes, and learning fast, which makes me the perfect candidate to bring innovation to my working environment.• Problem Solver: My research and prior experience working with people has sharpened my problem solving skills which is an art of finding answers or solutions to problems. This skill involves using strong critical thinking, and evidence-based analytical reasoning. • Expertise: My technical skills honed outside of my academic niche involve multicultural knowledge, digital and creative skills, social and psychological patterns in human relations as well as product and market knowledge developed as a banker in my previous career.
