ABOUT AMAN KOHLI

I am an architect, project lead, skilled multi-language software engineer with a breadth of experience from working in software vendors, as consultant and currently as principal architect for mobile systems. My current focus is on developing and delivering cloud ready services for Mobile technology groups within Citi. I have solid experience in scalable enterprise architectures and development of microservices, SOA and Web Services based solutions. I have developed and deployed large, highly performant, scalable systems. Previously, I have worked with international software companies and startups. My background is in product engineering and employ the rigor and discipline of product development to all my projects. My background is a strong technical one, specialising in highly scalable and reliable distributed systems. I have full life cycle consultancy experience from tender submission to delivery. I have implemented governance and controls for architecture and process teams and a lead a key function for Citi’s mobile technology governance. My focus is on innovation and applying best practice to the work environment, and I have keen interest in fintech, having built a working group to engage directly with startups. I have presented at international conferences and believe in applying new technology solutions to introduce greater efficiency and modernisation to software and enterprise solutions. Previously I was fintech ambassador for Citi in Ireland, co-organiser of the bitcoin technical group in Dublin, and also organise regular Fintech meet ups for the Irish community.
