As a seasoned finance professional with almost a decade of experience in financial accounting, audit, equity compensation, program management, and leadership development, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. My proficiency spans IFRS & US GAAP, advanced data analytics (Excel, R programming, SQL), audit & compliance, financial planning, and people management.Currently, I am a Senior Finance Manager at Microsoft, where I ensure the accuracy of Microsoft\'s $10B+ expense in stock-based compensation in accordance with US GAAP. I am recognized as a subject matter expert in accounting and finance literature related to stock-based compensation. My role involves month-end close management; 10Q/K financial reporting; expense planning, forecasting and budgeting; Financial analysis, management reporting and business partnership.Previously, I managed the quarterly stock awards for all Microsoft employees as a Stock Programs Manager, overseeing vesting activities and ensuring regulatory compliance for subsidiaries in Malaysia, Namibia, and Vietnam. My experience also includes auditing clients in the energy and natural resources sector at KPMG, where I led teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.I hold an MBA from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Ghana. I am a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and hold certifications in Equity Compensation and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.Beyond my professional achievements, I am passionate about entrepreneurship and volunteerism.
