About Kofi Awa
I am an alum from the Rutgers University School of Engineering. I studied for 6 years for my Bachelor of Science and my Master of Science both in Mechanical Engineering. At Rutgers, I have done all the steps to prepare myself for the engineering field by being an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). While pursuing my master\'s, I had written a thesis on electronic industrial mixers titled “Smart Batch Mixing,” which is published in the Rutgers Library and the U.S. Library of Congress. I am currently working as a Staff Design Engineer at ENGenuity Infrastructure, a civil engineering firm located in Red Bank, NJ.
