My daily responsibilities at WTG include analyzing and interpreting FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps, NJDEP tideland claims maps, NJDEP wetlands maps, and category 1 stream maps. My day also consists of helping customers understand these maps and what they mean for their property. If you think your property may be affected by a FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area, NJDEP Tideland Claim or NJDEP Category One Stream 300ft buffer and want to learn more about these regulations, give us a call!To keep our company running as efficiently as possible my colleagues and I often perform geoprocessing operations including buffering, intersections and spatial joins. We also create custom python scripts to increase our productivity and maximize our work flow efficiency.
