About Kody Phillips
My career began in the manufacturing recruitment industry- specifically Maintenance & Engineering. I left recruitment to work in mechanical contracting because I wanted to learn more about how successful Maintenance & Engineering departments operate in various manufacturing industries.While every manufacturer has unique challenges, a constant theme was the struggle to hire quality Maintenance professionals within the traditional interview process. I co-founded Fivos to help manufacturers radically improve their maintenance teams with the goal of increasing OEE/machine uptime. Fivos enables manufacturers & potential employees to evaluate one another more in depth than the traditional interview process allows- increasing the odds for a mutual fit. Our unique, customizable approach has yielded significantly better results than the traditional process while eliminating bad fits early, allowing access to passive candidates, & increasing retention once hired.
